At DJ Brooking, we want every brushstroke and every page turn to bring you joy. We carefully curate our selection of art supplies and books to inspire our creative community. However, if something isn't quite right with your purchase, our friendly team is here to help in accordance with UK consumer rights.
 

1. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

Under the UK Consumer Rights Act, goods must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality. If your new watercolor set is faulty, a canvas is damaged, or a book is misprinted, please bring it back to us!

• You are entitled to a full refund, exchange, or replacement for faulty goods within 30 days of purchase.

• Please bring your receipt or proof of purchase with you.
   

2. Change of Mind (In-Store Purchases)

We know that sometimes you might pick up the wrong shade of acrylic or buy a book you already own. While UK law does not require stores to accept returns for a simple change of mind, we are happy to offer an exchange or a store credit within 14 days of purchase, provided that:

• The item is in its original, pristine, and resaleable condition.

• Books are unread and their spines are unbroken.

• Art materials (such as paints, mediums, and paper pads) are unopened, unused, and still in their original packaging.

• You have your original receipt.
   

3. Online Purchases

All online orders will be protected under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. This means you will have the right to cancel your online order within 14 days of receiving your goods, and a further 14 days to return the items to us for a full refund.
 

4. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, copyright, and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty:

• Magazines and periodicals.

• Gift cards and vouchers.

• Any art supplies that have been opened, unsealed, or used.

• Customized or specially ordered items.
   

5. How to Return an Item

Because our online store is still being built, all returns, exchanges, and stock inquiries must currently be handled directly with our team in person. If you have a question about a return before making the trip, please give us a ring!
